brylon!

my sister in law had her baby! and he is perfect. a couple months ago i photographed her beautiful belly on the beach. and as perfect timing would have it, when i was in florida to photograph joanna and kyle's wedding, i got to take his newborn pictures. he is just as perfect... no, more perfect... than i could imagine. i loved watching her comfortably slip into her role as a mom. nurturing, gentle, caring, excited, grateful. jason is already a dad, but he was just as gentle and aware as her. they all fit together with perfect balance.

baby marcus!

this little boy was so sweet with his wise little eyes and super calm demeanor. when i came over he was still napping but his mama took me to spy on him. he kind of rustled around and then opened his eyes and just smiled. throughout the session he couldn't really decide if he'd rather be sleeping or awake, but he was happy and at peace. this family was so perfect together. laid back, happy, content people. i love it.
