michael is 9 months old!

so this face might look super familiar... i photographed him a little over two months ago when we first met. he will turn ONE in december and i get to capture him then & at his first birthday party (complete with a cake smashing - i can't wait!) so last time i saw him he was really starting to come out of his shell. he was a content little baby full of smiles. i got to watch the love and awe and wonder in his mom's eyes and i relived the baby stage and loved every second of it. it's only been two months and already i feel like he's turning into a kid a little too fast! he's getting so big and more vocal and sitting up and was in love with the trees. i loved watching his bright expressive eyes light up at all the new sights surrounding him. i just know next time i see him he'll be walking. the first year of life really never ceases to amaze me. 

grandma was visiting too... they had such a sweet connection.

stella is three months old!

you might remember this beautiful bundle of adorableness from her newborn session... that was three months ago already! it always blows my mind to see how fast babies grow and how much personality they develop in their first year of life. that's why i love capturing a baby's first year every three months to try to freeze those fleeting moments in time the best way i know how. i have already grown to adore this family and i've only hung out with them twice. they are honest, hilarious, and they LOVE their babies with their huge hearts. i was happy to see that stella is still as sweet and content as she was when she was first born. but now her bright smile and expressive eyes are starting to really show the essence of her personality. here are some of my favorites...

sweet family. minus big sister who was taking a nap :( she is ridiculously cute and will definitely be in some of the photos next time!

grace!

grace is such a perfect name for this little doll. from the moment i met her she smiled back at me every time i said her name. she was bubbling with personality and it was so fun to be around this sweet family. they love their little girl and they love each other and you can tell that they are exactly where they want to be in life. grace reflected their love and happiness and excitement the entire time. well, unless her feet touched the grass ;) here are some of my favorites...

little man michael!

meet michael, he is a perfect little man with a killer smile and bright camouflage eyes. he was born 10 weeks early, but that was about 7 months ago. now, you'd never know. he has those baby arm and leg rolls that i love and he's happy and loved. i met him and his sweet mama at their home and & we had a lot of fun. here are some of my favorites...

they are brown and green and yellow and just awesome. i loved them!
