i am convinced that i somehow am blessed with the most amazing clients ever. when i was welcomed into the mcalpin home, baby charlie was getting a bath in the sink. oh how i miss the days when zoe fit in the sink. we chatted and got to know each other a bit, and i very quickly realized - i adore this family. charlie was so calm and content and happy & they have so much gratitude for what a perfect little dude he is. i really love being around people who love each other. not because of obligation, not because they should or they have to, because they do. this is rachel & dean. it's in their bones and their soul and they don't have to say many words to be on the exact same wavelength. they anticipate one another's needs and are always looking for ways to support each other. naturally, they make perfect parents and charlie seems to be a constant source of light and love and joy for them. it was a beautiful thing to watch, and i'm really excited that i got to capture this time in their life (and am looking forward to many more). meet mr. man...
