alden & heather: wedding

July 4th weekend we headed down to Hilton Head, South Carolina for my cousin's wedding. They trusted me with taking their wedding photos - which was a huge honor! I had so much fun with them. My uncle just recently passed away (the groom's father) so it was a bittersweet occasion, but his energy was everywhere. It was a really powerful weekend.

Heather's bridesmaides seriously never ceased to amaze me. They were the most attentive and sweet girls, and they had EVERYTHING on hand. Awesome.

This photo is of Alden signing the marriage license before the ceremony. He was so nervous and it was really cute.

I loved this photo of Heather getting ready to walk down the aisle with her flower girls.
This place was so gorgeous, and so was she.

Instead of her being given away, Alden walked half way to meet her. I thought it was such a cool way to do it, and the symbolism is great too. Meeting in the middle.

Moss Creek was stunning. They got married under this huge tree,
and it was so intimate and sweet.

They had the best first kiss I've ever seen!

Then we started portraits... They were all SO FUN to photograph.
